These Boots Are Made for Walking

First, I want to say thank you! Thank you to my family, friends, and other bloggers who have been so supportive on this new journey. It's hard to put yourself out there and not worry what others will think, but I can honestly say I am really enjoying this new chapter in my life. Now on to BOOTS!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE boots! Don't get me wrong I love my heels, but there's just something about boots that makes me happy. Today, I am sharing with you some of my favorites. Most I purchased within recent months, but there are some styles from last year I HAD to include, so here we go....  

I purchased my first over the knee boots last year and instantly fell in love! I found the black Steve Madden Gorgeous boots for $150 at Macys, but they are currently on sale for $129.99 (limited sizes). These were a birthday present from my hubby, so I would consider this price a splurge for me. I showed him the $798 price tag for the Stuart Weitzman OTK boots, and then these sounded like a steal! I knew I wanted another pair in taupe and Steve Madden released their new over the knee boot, Emotions this year. These do not have the tie in the back, but the fit is perfect (see IG pic) and very comfy like the Gorgeous. Not to mention, they are only $100 at Dillards and they come in black too. I wasn't planning on buying another pair but while running into Target for a couple things (we all know how that goes) the dv marilyn boots were screaming my name!! So there's my three over the knee boots I'll be rocking this fall and winter!

On to peep toe booties, a fall favorite, the top left were in my last post. You can check out more pictures of them here. Another pair from Target called the dv Lotus Peep Toe Fringe Booties. Y'all can probably tell I love fringe =) I also love the height of these boots and how they look awesome with leggings. The black fringe on the right are from last year. I wore these with a romper to the James Bay concert (see IG pic). I haven't been able to find them this year but I found a similar pair at JCPenney for only $23.99. (limited sizes)!!!!!

And last but not least my favorite booties! The top pair are BCBG from Dillards for $100. I absolutely love the height and look of these boots. Keep an eye out on IG, I will be posting pics of these beauties soon! The ones on the bottom left are by Lucky for $139 at Macys. Again, I'm not usually an over $100 shoes kind of gal, but trust me they are worth every penny! I wore these to the Needtobreathe concert (see IG pic). And the ones on the right are my final Target pair by Merona. I told yall Target's boots were on point this year!
