Hello World!

Hello world! Welcome to Dream Lilly!  I can’t wait to share my passion for fashion, home decor, and life in general with you! I have loved design ever since I was a little girl. I can remember decorating and redecorating my room, and even asking my mom to take on other rooms throughout the house as I got older. I kept all my room designs in a Lisa Frank sketchbook and also mapped out my weekly wardrobe. To be quite honest, not much has changed since then!

So a little bit about me and I’ll make it short and sweet! Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I pray He is all over this blogging journey. I am a 36 year old wife to Chris (married for 14 years) and mommy to Evan Lilly. We have two fur babies, Dorsey and Hagen. I was a classroom teacher for 7 years, but after having Evan Lilly I transitioned to a part time job as a school interventionist, which I still do today. I started this blog 3 years ago!! That's crazy!! After year 1, I opened up an online boutique! You can check it out here (Dream Lilly Boutique). It has been a blast running my own business and a lot of work!! Unfortunately, I backed away from blogging for a bit, but now I am ready to put it all together and share every step with you.

Basically the name comes from the fact that blogging about home décor and fashion has always been a dream of mine and Lilly is a name dear to my heart. Clearly, due to the fact that my daughter’s name is Evan Lilly! She is actually named after a favorite children’s book character of mine. I am beyond excited that I finally took this leap of faith and started Dream Lilly. Thank you for visiting and I can’t wait to share more with you!
